The Tire Industry Association and the Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau have released an updated 16-page full color brochure on "Understanding Retreading."
The brochure was created in an effort to improve the public's knowledge of the retreading process. The organizations also wanted the public to get a better grasp of retreading's contribution to the economy and environment by reducing a tire's lifecycle cost.
The educational tool includes the chapters Why Retread, Are Retreads Safe, If You Want To Be Green, and all Six steps of the Retread Process.
