Hammerhead Industries unveiled the Gear Keeper CB Mic Keeper RT2 Designer Series, a retractable device designed to keep drivers safe while communicating on a mic.
The Gear Keeper CB Mic Keeper is installed by mounting it to an existing screw with the provided D-ring and attaching the unit into place with the snap clip. Once attached, the lanyard drops the mic to a convenient hanging position, eliminating hazardous dangling bungee cords while keeping it safe, secure, and within arm's reach. The unit has a 23-inch extension and nine ounce retraction force. The unit's quick connect attachment with pivot-ball connection keeps the mic properly positioned.
The device features a nylon-coated stainless steel cable with a 60-pound break strength rating. A high-impact housing protects the Gear Keeper's internal components and ensures durability over the long haul.
The series comes in different designs, including the Stars & Stripes model, Red Flame and Blue Flame models, the Carbon Graphite model, and Standard Chrome model for an industrial feel.
