Minnesota-based Xata Corporation, which offers fleet optimization tools, has created a web portal to train customers on its Xatanet technology.
The tool goes live in September.

"The key benefit of this online training is how it will streamline the adoption of Xatanet with our customers," said Kevin Haus, director of training and installation for Xata Corporation. "Over time, it will empower fleet management to increase technology use and get full adoption from drivers and dispatchers."

By using the online training, customers will have 24/7 access to self-directed coursework as well as interactive features, including the customization of levels of passing scores for all online testing. The web portal will initially feature courses for driver and checkpoint trip-editing application training, but the company will add new courses along the way.

Xata will demonstrate the tool starting August 24.
