Titan Trailers has introduced a new suite of live floor trailers to handle more demanding jobs
. The new trailers will feature the new V-18 aluminum V-Floor unloading system from Keith Manufacturing Co.
The V-18 floor is a lighter weight version, built out of 18 aluminum slats. It provides resistance to leaks and heat without floor seals that would be damaged by excessive wear.
The new system is intended for materials that may be too demanding on a standard slat, and can be used for applications such as municipal solid waste, recycled materials, wood chips, construction debris, fertilizers and farm chemicals and other fine materials.
According to Titan, these types of jobs have typically been handled by steel-body dump trailers, with a payload limit of around 50 cubic yards. The Titan trailer more than doubles the payload to up to 130 cubic yards.
Titan will offer V-18 trailers with a variety of slat profiles, including an Impact Series for high wear materials and impact applications.
