All new 2010 FE and FG Mitsubishi Fuso medium-duty trucks will come with door-mounted split rearview mirrors as a standard feature.

While older versions had the split mirrors as an option, the new models will automatically come with the mirrors, which have a flat upper surface combined with a smaller, convex lower surface.

The mirrors provide for a full view of the rear as well as of the side road next to the vehicle. The whole mirror frame can be adjusted easily, with detents that hold the frame in position. The convex surface adjusts separately so that each driver can change the view to his specifications.

"These mirrors can help to eliminate blind spots, and that could help prevent accidents for all Mitsubishi Fuso truck owners," said Mike Rumsey, vice president of sales operations.
