Affiliated Computer Services' mobile solutions are being integrated into PeopleNet's Blu platform, in an effort to offer new mobile in-cab scanning solutions.
The integration will include ACS' truckload market scanning and document delivery services, TripPak Scanningo, Capture Anyware and TripPak Expresso. TripPak Scanningo provides 100 percent imaging solution for outsourced scanning. With Capture Anyware, carriers can use a variety of submission methods for the receipt of documents, including full-service truckstop scanning, terminal scanning, in-cab scanning, fax and e-mail.
"This partnership is a natural with ACS' business process improvement solutions, which complement PeopleNet's profit-driving operational applications and industry-leading mobile communications," said Bridget Wahlstrom, product manager for PeopleNet. "The combination offers fleets an additional way to reduce operating costs and improve fleet productivity through in-cab scanning solutions."
