PeopleNet, a provider of Internet-based and integrated onboard computing and mobile communications management, announced the launch of its drill-down, comparative reporting that covers extended time periods. Logistics Intelligence platform, based on SAP's Business Objects, drives the company's new PerformX Dashboard.

The new reporting system identifies the highest/lowest- performing drivers or vehicles according to engine-related performance metrics: speed, RPM, fuel efficiency and idle time. Users also can drill down to PerformX Dashboard's real-time metrics display from Logistics Intelligence.

Logistics Intelligence is a fleet management reporting software with expanded comparative reporting periods, eliminating time-span restrictions on tracked data; its log information is the only exception, which meets six- and 12-month compliance regulations. There are a variety of flexible reporting options by driver or vehicle, including a number of log (hours, payroll), location (GPS), messaging (driver- and dispatch-generated, volume, content), and PerformX engine diagnostics (fault codes, alarms), as well as administrative reports. In addition, there are several report delivery options: managers can schedule reports to arrive at regular intervals, such as an hour before driver meetings, or call up the data anytime through the PeopleNet Fleet Manager website's Logistics Intelligence portal. Users can toggle between any number of reports that compare performance of: truck to terminal, region or entire fleet; driver/vehicle to other drivers/vehicles in the terminal, region or entire fleet; terminal to other terminals in the region or the entire fleet; and region to other regions or entire fleet.
