BulletProof Autosports is targeting the heavy-duty truck industry with the debut of its BulletProof Windshield Protectant.
This spray-on micro-polymer creates a covalent bond to the glass, leaving glass resistant to impact and water.

The product was created to lessen the frequency and impact of rock chips, cracks and sandblast pitting. It also contributes to great visibility in wet driving conditions, according to the company. The coating takes about 17 minutes to apply.

Every month, 1 million windshields are replaced in the U.S., making it a $6 billion industry. BulletProof guarantees that its new fleet program will reduce glass repair and replacement costs by 50 percent every year.
