Hi-G-Tek announced a partnership with Emco Wheaton designed to supply a range of wireless Radio Frequency Identification sealed delivery solutions for liquid petroleum and fuel-oil road tankers.
Emco Wheaton has launched a wireless Sealed Cargo System that uses Hi-G-Tek's Pro-Active technology. The SCS provides an accurate monitoring solution for individual compartment valves and manhole covers, resulting in real-time tracking from terminal to delivery point.
Key elements of the system include immediate event alerts and monitoring of the tank truck apertures, GPS tracking, fleet management and back-office interface, and simple installation on existing road tankers. Additional product launches are expected later in the year to further enhance the range of the sealed parcel delivery systems provided by Emco Wheaton.
